Grant Bjorn - Project Manager / Owner

Grant Bjorn is the heart and soul of The Outdoor Media Group. He coordinates the entire process from project strategy to delivery of the final product. With award-winning roots in the sign/graphics industry dating back 20 years, Grant has been the Owner/Project Manager of The Outdoor Media Group for over 10 years. His background includes working for both AT&T and Sprint as Project Manager in installations across Southern California. Grant has his Associates Degree in Art from Orange Coast College, and Certificate in Project Management from UCLA. He is also Microsoft Certified. Grant is married with two children and loves surfing, sailing and barbecuing.

Dave Boecker - Senior Graphic Artist

The Outdoor Media Group's Senior Graphic Artist Dave Boecker understands the importance of knowing the long-term vision of a company and how to accurately and consistently reflect and strengthen that message visually. Dave's an accomplished designer with a unique balance of creative and technical expertise. Born and raised in California, he began working in the sign industry 5 years ago, after a career in print catalogues. Dave enjoys fishing in his free time and spending time "hanging out with family" - including his two children and two grandchildren ages 7 and 4 months

Kevin Perkins - Field Installation Supervisor

Kevin Perkins has been with The Outdoor Media Group since the start. His experience comes from over 20 years in the sign industry. His specialty is trouble shooting on site installations that have not been addessed in blueprints and proposals that have already been approved by the city and state planning and building departments. If it wasn't for Kevin's dedication to details and professional customer service attitude, many of our projects would not have been completed on time. It's team players like Kevin Perkins that make The Outdoor Media Group what it is today. Kevin is married and has one daughter Nedra and he likes Speedway Motorcycle and NASCAR racing, and is a big Anaheim Angels baseball fan.

Carol Franzen - Accounts Coordinator

Carol Franzen, our newest team member, has been with our company just over a year. A graduate from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in business communications, she has been in sales and marketing for over 10 years. We met Carol doing a sign for her former company. She joined The Outdoor Media Group to have the opportunity to be involved with all aspects of a project, from the initial consultation to design and approval and the the final installation. We are very lucky to have her with us as she brings a lot of new ideas and creative solutions to each and every project.

Diane Patterson - Vice President of Operations

Diane Parterson started as our office manager and quickly moved up to production manager, and is currently vice president of operations. A graduate of California Lutheran University with honors, she learned her excellent customer service skills at Disneyland and then at Saturn, where she was only one of a handful of female sales consultants. She joined The Outdoor Media Group at its inception and has helped the organization grow into a full service sign company.

Jose Rodriguez - Finish Department Technician

Jose Rodriguez makes sure all the pieces of a sign fit together as he assembles and inspects each part. He quality tests each sign before it leaves the shop. Joes makes custom shipping boxes to ensure that when you receive your sign it is the same high quality that left the shop -- free from scratches and undamaged. He lives with his family in Anaheim and from his backyard he see Angel Stadium where his father has been taking him and brother to watch over 100 games since they were boys.

Patrick O'Conner - Paint Department Supervisor

Patrick O'Conner has been in the sign business for over twenty years. He once worked with Grant at another sign company back when there were no computers, and a sign painter came to work with his own tool box full of brushes and other tools of the trade. Patrick is a skilled painter and can still do hand lettering and pinstripping. He has won awards for his mural painting and does some of the greatest faux finish work and texture painting specialities. He can make a new sign look old or a sign look like it's on fire. Patrick is married and has two girls who often come to work with him on Saturdays where he is teaching them to paint to maybe someday become famous artists like their dad.

Randy Jones - Lead Installer

Randy Jones, our lead installer, is the first one on the job site and the last to leave, and he is in charge of ensuring everything is in place when the sign is ready for installation. Randy hunts down people to ask them to move their cars and directs traffic when we close down a traffic lane. People love watching a sign being installed and he answers all their questions and makes sure no one gets into harm's way. Randy loves his job because each day is different and he gets to meet the most interesting people, but the best part is working outside in beautiful Southern California.

Sam Camm - Supervisor

Sam Camm has been with The Outdoor Media Group since the start. Sam and Grant met years ago when they were doing cell tower installations for Sprint. Same was Grant's supervisor and they became good friends. When Grant decided to go back to his roots and start a sign company, he convinced Sam to join him as the comany's supervisor. Sam is multi-talented, handeling jobs from welding to electrical wiring besides motivating his crew to give their best effort. He is fearless and has done aerial installs over 100 feet high. Sam is responsible for the success of many of our highest and most difficult projects.
